Happiest Place on Earth

We're walking right down the middle of Mainstreet USA!

I finally made it back to the Magic Kingdom. It's been too long. I almost felt like I was going to the park for the first time because it had been that long. (Mental note...Don't EVER let that happen again)

Tickets in hand, we walked through and we're instantly transported to Christmasland. My father was in hog heaven. He is slightly obsessed with Christmas. By slightly, I really mean OBSESSED to high extreme considering he has a Christmas CD playing in his car at all times. #weird.

The entire reason we went was to finally be able to say we have been to the NEW Fantasyland. It was worth the wait. Although they are doing some construction to make what looks like an awesome roller coaster, it was fantastic.

Is it bad that one of my favorite things about Disney is looking at everything while you are waiting in line? Disney is the best about taking everything into consideration including the line wait. I am never bored waiting in line because there is always something to look at. No detail is left out. It's incredible!

Parade time! This boy in front of us was wearing a Woody t-shirt. During the parade Woody walked right up to him and gave him a huge hug. The boy's face lit up. It was priceless.

When you go to Disney, one of the things that you spend quite a bit of money on is food. It's ridiculous the amount of money you to eat a regular burger and a soda with mickey ears on the cup. Instead of spending money on burgers and fries (no offense), we eat at a buffet style restaurant and EAT! Yes it's quite a bit more money than the mickey cup but you get great food, a variety of options and you can eat all you want.

We like to go right after the parade. Normally we eat so much you have to roll us out of the place.
Example A

At Magic Kingdom, our restaurant of choice is The Crystal Palace. It's buffet style character dining.

Eat and Drink with Winnie the Pooh and gang!

We rode some more rides and it was time to light up the castle. Yay! My favorite part about Christmas at Magic Kingdom.

Isn't it gorgeous!!!!

Because the park was closing early for "Very Merry Christmas Party," we walked through Mainstreet shops until we got kicked out.

A bedazzled mickey. Who can say no to that?
I need this shirt. NEED keyword. HINT HINT!!!!

Go through the confectionery towards the end of the night. You may be able to get a sample!!!

I refuse to take the monorail back to the Ticket/Transportation station. It's always crapped and packed to the max with everyone wanting to leave the park. If you want to go to the ticket/transportation center fast and don't mind a few stops along the way, try taking the resort monorail. It's not overcrowded and stopping at the fancy resorts along the way doesn't bother me.

Since it we left the park earlier than we normally would and were in the Christmas spirit, we stopped at The Grand Floridan. As apart of the decorations, the resort creates a life size gingerbread house that has smoke blowing out of the chimney, and even serves as a kiosk to sell things.

(A gift shop off in the hotel sells gingerbread shingles to eat if you want)

I can't walk around any shop at Disney without looking at a retail window or two.

What can I say it's in my veins?

A crystal encrusted reindeer...STOP IT!

Disney brings out the kid in us all. It makes me so happy.

I guess that's why they call it the happiest place on earth.
